American Airlines adds service to Guyana

FORT WORTH, Texas, Tuesday, March 27, 2018 – American Airlines adds service to Guyana among other destinations In Mexico and South America.

The new routes to South America include Georgetown, Guyana (GEO); Pereira, Colombia (PEI) and Cordoba, Argentina (COR); and one new city in Mexico: Oaxaca (OAX).

American Airlines is the largest airline in Mexico and South America and looks to strengthen their position according to Vasu Raja, vice president, Network and Schedule Planning.

The new routes will be available for purchase on April 2, 2018, for travel to Guyana from Miami December 20, 2018 using an Airbus 319, subject to government approval.

All routes are subject to government approval
