Nora Kawalec nee Johnson

Nora Kawalec, nee Johnson left British Guiana for the USA soon after the war to marry her sweetheart Bob. she was Miss BG in 1949. She was not only a beautiful woman but an extraordinarily charming person with great and quick intellectual capabilities. Nora leaves behind her husband of 70 years, Bob Kawalec,  daughter Janet, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her elder daughter. She was a dear friend to many and chatted with old friends and family thanks to modern technology. Nora passed away peacefully on  Monday, September 24th. She was 88.
