Feel free to cut and paste the language below in your commentary to the publishers of the erroneous map.
Dear Publisher:
Any reputable map of Guyana, South America, should clearly depict the internationally recognized borders between Guyana and Venezuela as well as between Guyana and Suriname. By publishing a map displaying ambiguous border lines, you are creating doubt in the eyes of the masses about the facts.
I implore you to desist in perpetuating this myth about the ownership of parts of Guyana by Venezuela or Suriname. By continuing to publish this map you are likely to cause bloodshed sometime in the future. Many people use the internet for their research and as we know, it only takes one publication of an error to cast doubts about the facts in the eyes of the world.
Thank you for your attention to this issue.
The publisher will only change this map if they hear from a significant number of people, so spread the word. Contact Microsoft today.
