Livia Prescott was born on the 28th of April in the beautiful country of Guyana. From a young age she was self confident and bold. Her abilities to sing was discovered when she sang lullabies to her younger siblings. Her talents began and were developed in church at 8 years old.
At the age of ten Livia and her family migrated to Antigua where her secondary education was complete. In 2002 she entered the Ms. Caribana Heritage Beauty Pageant and was declared the winner and was crown queen of Barbuda the sister isle of Antigua. Also in 2005 she was crown Queen of the Independent Queen Sister Island Pageant. She studied cosmetology and graduated in 1999 and discovered in addition to being able to sing well, she could compose tunes with lyrics. Taking from life experiences mostly, she believes her ability to write comes from her mother who composes beautiful poetry. Tenacious, spontaneous, and extremely lively describes her the best. But down to earth and humble the main attributes installed by her mom.
Livia’s here to stay and relishes the thought. Although still young she has great confidence in herself because of the obstacles she had to overcome and preserver. With her faith in god she is thankful for her experiences and walks to the future in strength. She uses this along with keen situation and challenges in the way she approaches her writing songs. They are written in a way so that the ordinary person will relate.
